Covenant keeping God | Rev. Beatrice Waithaka | SWC | DCIKZ

Gen 16:1-4

Because of impatience we miss the blessings God has in store for us as while nurturing Ishmael in our lives.

We ought to build capacity so that the covenant can be released unto us.

Abram stooped so low for lack of patience. How many times have we as Christians done the same? What have you replaced with patience?

Lessons we learn from Abram, Sarai and Haggai;

1. God dispenses His gifts generously loading us with benefits.

2. She held God's Providence for herself. Sarai took it personally upon herself to have a Son through Haggai as opposed to waiting on God.

You compromise because you want to please someone but what God has promised, He will still do. It is just a matter of time.

3. Abram's compliance with Sarai's proposal.

God brings us to a wilderness and meets you there. {Hosea 2:14}

There is a covenant of grace- only open your eyes.
