Facing the Giant of Temptation | Bishop Dr. Jimmy Kimani
• Mark 14:38 Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak." •
Romans 7:19 I want to do what is good, but I don't. I don't want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway.
1. You need to understand the enemy. The enemy is subtle. {Gen 3.1}
a. Know your enemy.
b. Your enemy is content to operate slowly.
c. Your enemy is calculating in proportions.
d. Our enemy is crafty with his packaging.
• James 1:14 but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.
e. Understand a greater power than the power of your enemy.
• Romans 8:31,37 What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [is] against us? No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
