Trapped, Troubled but trusting | Rev. Gitau Gakuo | DCIKZ
✊Hezekiah began his 29 years reign in Israel, he was a fair and just king working against all the forces of darkness.
✊Hezekiah obeyed God's commandments and trusted in the Lord.
✊However, in the 14th year of his reign the king of Syria attacked his country.
✊Just because you are a Christian, it does not save you from trouble. ✔️Hezekiah compromised after getting into trouble. He took all the precious things from the temple and gave the king of Syria to appease him.
✊When you do a deal with the enemy he doesn't just take the best. He turns your focus away from God so that you may start doubting God. {Genesis 3.1}
✊In times of trouble, do not be afraid. 185,000 soldiers camped within the city walls of Israel. Hezekiah went to the Lord in prayer, the Angel of the Lord fought for him and the entire army was defeated. God will fight for those that trust Him in times of trouble.
✊God is our refuge. Do not make deals with enemy. Wait on Him. {Psalms 46}
✊Don't compromise with the enemy.
✊Seek the face of God.
✊Do not be afraid.
