✔The anointing Jesus carried was not honored in His own home town. 📌Mark 6:4 Then Jesus told them, "A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his relatives and his own family." ✊🏽Familiarity makes us miss the blessings.

✔The anointing you honor will affect your life.

✔It could be a person carrying the anointing- how then do you connect? 1. Contact that person.

Giving unleashes power in your life.

Your gift will prosper you. {Proverbs 17.8}

Your gift will provide you a place in life, and will bring you before great (godly) men in society. (Proverbs 18.16)

Your gift will bring you friends. (Proverbs 19.6)

Your gift will stop anger. (Proverbs 21.14)

Giving will spread the gospel. {Romans 10.14-15}

Giving brings a harvest.

Galatians 6:9 So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up.

Giving always prospers the giver. {Proverbs 11.24; 19.6}

Your gift will not "buy" their friendship, but your generous nature will supernaturally attract people who will have your well-being at heart because they see the giving heart of God living in you.

Your gift is a natural key that unleashes a supernatural miracle-working force in your life. Giving always prospers you.

God's giving guarantee. {Galatians 6.7; 2 Corinthians 9.6}

Luke 6:38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back."

As long as God brings something along your way, to Him - you are qualified.

Your income is in direct correlation to you giving.

God does not prosper us for the purpose of raising our standard of living. He prospers us so that we can raise our standard of giving.

God prospers us to raise our standard of giving.

What then are the benefits of being a giver?

Giving always results in receiving. {Luke 6.38}

1. God promises to return your gift to you.

2. God says your blessings will come from men who shall give to you. He uses people and so He has no difficulty blessing you from unexpected places. The source God uses doesn't matter.

3. You will receive in the same measure that you give. The measure is not how much you give, but how much you give in proportion to your income.

{Luke 6.38, Galatians 6.7}

Giving is your God-given right.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

{2 Corinthians 9.11, Exodus 36.6,7}

Rekindle the altar fire | Rev. Beatrice Waithaka | DCIKZ

Key Scripture: Exodus 20.24

Where there is an altar there must be an offering that attracts fire from heaven.

Hebrews 12:29 for our "God is a consuming fire."

An altar is the table of the Lord, A place of expressing lasting love. {Proverbs 3:9}

Altar fire can only be rekindled in the right relationship/standing with God. {Mark 12:30}

Submitting wholly and walking in reverence of His word. {Leviticus 6:13}

Place a sacrifice on the altar to keep the fire burning. Without the altar there is no place of sacrifice.

When an altar is prepared and accepted the consuming fire comes down.

When the fire of the altar goes down worship becomes a ritual.

The fire goes out due to;

1. Neglect. {1 Samuel 13.11-13}

How many times have we moved away from God because He said wait and you did not listen?

2. Only God can start the fire. {Leviticus 9.24}

We go out of our way and start our own fire and fan it. But for every human fire there is a price to pay.

3. Whole hearted obedience to God's will.

Obedience is better than sacrifice.

The altar is our hearts as believers, the fire is our obedience.

How to know if your spiritual flame is off;

Your interest in the word of God has decreased.

Your prayer life is not what it used to be.

Your worship attendance is no longer a priority.

Your giving to the Lord has lagged off or stopped completely.

You rarely if ever talk to anyone about Jesus.

You don't feel as close you did to God.
