Vessels of Honor | Ps. Rosemary W. Kamau.
2 Tim-2:20 - In the wealthy home, expensive utensils are used for special occasions while the others are used for ordinary daily use. A utensil is a horror vessel the is used for household activities. Keep yourself pure and you will be used by God as a vessel of Honor. Timothy was urging Paul to be an honorary vessel. As vessel of nobel use, we should watch what flows in and out of us! Our responsibilities as a vessel of honor 1. Be vigilant, watch your heart as the life comes. Proverbs 4:33. 2. Continue to meditate upon the word of God day and night. Joshua 1:8. This word of law shall not depart from your mouth ...that you may have good success. 3. Think Christ centered thoughts. Phil 4:8- Whatsoever things are good, lovely, just, honorable etc..think about them. The vessel has to be pure and very clean so that God can use. 4. Be in the right company. 1 Cor 15:33- Bad morals corrupt good morals. We have a part to play if we desire to be used as a vessel of honor. The knowledge of God, is the life's greatest gift. To have fellowship with God, we have to pray, fast, study the word, be in the presence of the Lord always. In God's house, you have a choice to be a pure vessel or an unclean vessel. #VesselsOfHonor #DCIKZ #MountingUp #FeelsLikeHome

The Wind Or The Word? | Sheila Wangari | DCIKZ
📌 Jesus told the disciples, "I will meet you on the other side". He gave them his WORD ASSURANCE. " I will see you on the other side ". He gave them his word.
📌 Dear Believer...The challenge is not believing that you will see him on the other side; it's " How long is it going to be before I get there "?
📌 He gave me his word that he would never leave me nor forsake me. He gave me his word. In this corner, hailing from eternity, made flesh by the will of the Father to redeem humanity, is the living, breathing Logos, Word of God, Jesus Christ.
📌 Church the Lord has given us all a word and an assurance that no matter what happens I'll see you on that other end...hold on to these words for dear life.
📌What is gonna win the calling that God put on your life or the circumstances that say the opposite of that...Faith or fear and then there goes our today's topic the wind or the word.
📌 When you get into a storm there are things you need to ask yourself..I'm I going to get out of this storm as a survivor or as a student....desire to be a student of the storm. 📌 Vs 24 says the wind was against the boat. The boat did not represent disobedience, like it did for Jonah who was going away from God. They were going into their assignment, which led them into a storm, which meant they had to keep moving forward against the wind.
📌 Jesus showed up during the fourth watch yet He was still on time.
📌 Sometimes God does not show up when we expect him to .He does not operate in our calendars
❤️ His timing is designed to teach you to trust.
❤️ Even if he is four days he is still on time.
❤️ JUST BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T SEE JESUS DOES NOT MEAN THAT JESUS DID NOT SEE THEM
❤️ Church God's timing is not purposed to give us relief but to give us a revelation...repeat.
❤️ Just because you can't see him does not mean he is not watching HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW
❤️Just because the storm is raging doesn't mean God has left the scene.
❤️ Just because he hasn't stopped it doesn't mean he doesn't see it.
❤️Just because the Devil started it doesn't mean he won't use it.
📌 Sometimes the moment when He's closest is the same moment when the wind is blowing the strongest.
📌 The wind was against them, the word was for them.
📌 Fear is faith in the wrong what if.
📌 What if there is something on the other side that's worth going into the storm for.
📌 What if the wind is just a revelation that's what's ahead is even more better.
📌 If Jesus said it, He'll do it. Better Believe.

Siku ya Bwana | Mchungaji Moses Waweru | DCIKZ
Kuna siku tunayoitarajia
Mambo mengine yote yatakwisha lakini haya matatu yatabaki; Imani, Upendo, Tumaini.

Overcoming our Walled Cities | Bishop Dr. Jimmy Kimani | DCIKZ
Bringing the Walls of Jericho Down God said to Joshua that He had given the land of Jericho and its kings to him. God asked Joshua and the Israelites to go around the wall of Jericho once a day every day for six days and on the seventh day, they shall go round the wall seven times. Joshua gathered the priests and the Ark of Covenant and marched around the city while blowing the trumpets. On the seventh day, they went round the City making shouts and the walls fell. The conquered Jericho, slaughtered all apart from those in Rehab's house.
Overcoming our Walled Cities Jericho was surrounded by two thick walls that were huge. God was testing the Israelites both physically and psychologically What Joshua Learnt!
Lesson about Supremacy In supremacy, there is a supreme being.
Joshua came face to face with the host, our Lord and Jesus Christ. The supreme being held a sword sharp and upright, the Captain of the Lord's hosts. Jesus is a sword ready for war on our behalf. There is a supreme bring. Joshua asks the supreme person...are you for us or for them? And He answers... I am for neither. This is because the supreme being was taking over. Let us let Jesus take over the battles in our lives! We need to acknowledge that we cannot win the battles, but Jesus can! Lessons about Submission This life demands so much from us Joshua portrayed total submission to God's instructions.
He was reminded of God's promises,- I have given you Victory over Jericho and its Kings.
God intends to give us victory over victory, and has not changed about His victory. Joshua was submissive to God's plans. He was instructed to only go around the walls of Jericho, and they would come falling down. There are battles that we fight that we sweat for while all we need to do is do nothing. He was only to take seven priests, who stood as advocates for men to God. Seven was a number of completion. They were also to take seven lambs horns...the lamb. represents Christ Jesus. They were also to take the ark of Covenant. It represented the presence of God.
They were to take then and walk around the city without making any shouts until God instructed them. He was submissive to God's power. He understood that victory was in God's power Lessons about success. Success was based on determination. The people of Jericho were terrified and after all, Joshua decided to obey and do it God's way. God will give us strength, they shall mount with wings.
Success was also based on perseverance They went around the wall for six days and nothing happened. Six represents man, but on the seventh day, they went around the wall shouting and the wall fell down. Seven represents completion. Success involved death Something had to die.
The Israelites slaughtered all, old and young, men and women...apart from those in Rehab's house. We have to rise up in prayer and kill all the things that hold us down... fear, intimidations, poverty etc. We need to SHOUT in Jesus name for the walls to come crashing down. It shall end in praise!

Jesus Christ the Living Water | Pst. Bryan Mwashigadi | DCIKZ
John 4: 1-29. This is the story about Jesus and the woman at the well.
In verse 4..the Bible says that Jesus needed to go through Samaria.
4.But He Needed to go through Samaria....He came across a well where a woman was drawing water from a well and asked her to give her water. ...give me a drink If you knew the gift of God and who it is that is asking you for a drink, you would have asked Him to give you living living waters. The reason why the Jews did not like passing through Samaria is because the Jews people despised the Samaritans because they did not practice the laws of Moses fully.
Jesus being a fully recognized Jew was thus compelled to or he needed to pass through Samaria to meet this woman who was from a despised community. This morning, Jesus is willing to encounter each and every one of us. Jesus wants us to meet us where we are. He died, went through shame that He might meet us. Jesus Christ the Living Water. It was noon when the samaritan needed to draw water because it was always so hot in Samaria. She was not only from an outcast community but was also a harlot...had five men. This is why Jesus needed to meet this woman. When Jesus died for us, he died for our past, present, and future sins that is why there is no condemnation for them that are in Christ Jesus.
It is finished because He nailed all our sins at Calvary!! If Jesus had just passed by, the devil had every right to afflict her because she deserved through the filthy life she was living...But Jesus was compelled to save her through His mercies! Our desires can only be satisfied fully in Jesus. If we delight ourselves in God, he is willing to give us our desires of our hearts.
In verse 13...whoever that drinks the water that i give, will never thirst again and the woman says, Sir, give me the water. She jumps for this opportunity because she may have gone a for some time without water...only for convenience. She says ...give me this living water so that i may not thirst and i may not come here to draw. Many are the times when we come to Jesus for convenience. So Jesus said ..Go and bring your husband, and the woman replied, i have no husband. The first assignment of the Spirit of God is to convince us of our sins. Jesus replied, you have said the truth..you have had five husbands and the one in your house is not even yours! When Jesus meets us, the spirit of God will convince us of our sins and we shall confess them.

The Pool Of Mercy | Pst. David Kibera | DCIKZ
John 5: 1-12 TLB
1.Afterwards Jesus returned to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish religious holidays.
2 Inside the city, near the Sheep Gate, was Bethesda Pool, with five covered platforms or porches surrounding it.
3 Crowds of sick folks—lame, blind, or with paralyzed limbs—lay on the platforms (waiting for a certain movement of the water,
4 for an angel of the Lord came from time to time and disturbed the water, and the first person to step down into it afterwards was healed).
[a] 5 One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him and knew how long he had been ill, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?”
7 “I can’t,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to help me into the pool at the movement of the water. While I am trying to get there, someone else always gets in ahead of me.”
8 Jesus told him, “Stand up, roll up your sleeping mat and go on home!”
9 Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up the mat and began walking! But it was on the Sabbath when this miracle was done.
10 So the Jewish leaders objected. They said to the man who was cured, “You can’t work on the Sabbath! It’s illegal to carry that sleeping mat!”
11 “The man who healed me told me to,” was his reply.
12 “Who said such a thing as that?” they demanded.
