Tuesday Aug 03, 2021
Tuesday Aug 03, 2021
A friend might just be a way to changing your story. Paul was given a chance since the Disciples knew Barnabas. Proverbs 13:20 Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. Serve the Lord in your mess and someday it may become your message. #RewritingYourStory #Acts_9_26To28 #SundayService #MountingUp #DCIK_z #feelslikehome

When God walks with you;
• You will have a Companion in Him.
• You will experience rest. {V.14}
• You can close up and wait on God to do what He has promised.
• You will be distinguishable.
• You will be known by God and He calls you is His own. Seeing God's back shows us where He has been and what He has been doing.

TO BE BACKED BY GOD Life has enough challenges;
The children of Israel suffering in Egypt
Slavery and hard labor
Pharaoh Pursuit
The red sea that stood before them.
The enemies they had to overcome en-route to the Promised Land.

Dan 1.8
But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself in this way.
Daniel's soul was anchored on the rock- Jesus Christ. He rejected the lifestyle influence.
A heart that trusts the Lord, obeys Him.

Arm Yourselves | Bishop Jimmy Kimani
• Eph 6.10-12 ; Col 1.16
• Battles are there invisible and visible, whether you are aware or not.
• Things which are seen are temporal.
• Being a Christian is warfare.
1. Put on the whole armor of God. {Rom 13.11-12} ; {2 Kings 17}
2. The armory of God; {Eph 6.14-17}
• Guard your waist with truth.
• Have the righteousness of God.
• Being a person of gospel carrier.
3. We are human, but we don't wage war as humans do. We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. { 2 Cor 10.3-4} 4. The word of God as a sword to win the battle against you.
• The battle gear is for every Christian and not just the saints.
• Renew your thoughts. Ephesians 6:10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. #Armyourself #TheArmourofGod #Eph6_10To17 #SundayService #MountingUp #DCIK_z #feelslikehome

Change my name, Oh Lord | Rev. Millicent Kaunda | Express Service
• 1 Chronicles 4.9-10
• Biblically names were intentional as often it signified someones character.
• There is power found in a name.
1. Jabez asked of the Lord to change his name.
2. Jabez asked God to enlarge his territory. - His area of influence.
3. He asked of God's hand to be with him.
• The hand of God is mighty. {Josh 4.23-24} • His hand will fight against the enemy. {Ex 9.3-4}
• His hand empowers people and gives you divine speed. {1 Kings 18.46} 4. He asked of God to Keep him from evil that he may not cause pain.
• He bargained in the presence of God for his name to be changed. All you need is for God to change your name.

2 Corinthians 2:14-17 14.
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
15. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
16. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?
17. For we are not, as [e]so many, peddling[f] the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

Kukiri kuletao Matokeo Bora
Mithali 18:21 2 Wakorintho 4:13 Marko 11:20 – 24 Mithali 6:2 Dag Heward-Mills (General Overseer of The Lighthouse Chapel International) anatia moyo waumini kutambua, kudai na kupokea kutoka kwa mungu.
1. Kutambua Utakalo [Name It] In this part, you identify what do you desire from God [outline your desire] and you just name it.
2. Kudai Utakalo [Claim It] To “claim it” means to confess your faith about what you desire from the Lord.
3. Kupokea Utakalo [Take it] To “take your claims” means to act on the Word of God.
As you abide in Christ and His Word abides in you, you will desire things that are consistent with the Word of God. And when you name them and claim them, you will receive them.
Remember this; Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows (Yakobo 1:17).
The Bible (1 Timotheo 6:10) makes it clear that it is the love of money and not money itself that corrupts.
It is not just enough to just name it and claim it. You must step further and obey the Word of God. That is how you take it! You must act on your faith.
Know God personally for yourself. You can have what you say, but you must act on it. Faith without works is dead faith [Yakobo 2:14].
