All God need from us is to honor him as our father.

Honor God as a father for;

1. He is Almighty. [2 Cor 6;18]

2. Our father is long suffering. [Psalm 86;15]

3. Our father is righteous and just. [Psalm 89;14]

4. Our Father is loving [1John 3;1]

When we were at our lowest, God rescued us and gave us life in abundance and molded us in His likeness.

If we are living in un-forgiveness, we are living outside the will of God. [Luke 6;36-37]

When we refuse to forgive;

1. We disobey God.

2. We open a door to Satan to send all kind of troubles.

3. We become miserable and lack joy.

*How do we forgive then?*

The process of forgiveness is to have the desire to forgive, decide, and depend upon the Holy Spirit.

• Receive the word and go forth with it believing.

• John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

1. The authority we have is through the word. {Prov 3.5-6}

2. The word of God is the sole revelation that we have. {Mt 4.1-4}

3. The source of the word is God.

2 Peter 1:19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;

• Therefore, the Word of God;

1. May tarry but it will never fail.

2. It is without error.

3. It cannot be changed.

• Consider God's word in all your ways. Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Key Scripture; Isaiah 55.7-13

• Do you believe the word of God is good and great always?

1. He will always meet your genuine needs.{Phil 4.19}

2. He always forgives our sins. {1 John 1.9}

3. He will never stop loving me. {Jer 31.3}

4. His strength and grace is always sufficient for you. {2 Cor 12.9}

5. He is the ruler of all things including my circumstances.

• Why then give weight to the word?

1. We forsake the way birthed by our own reasoning. {Is 55.7}

2. We return to the Word to establish our thoughts. {v 7b}

3. We experience Gods mercy and forgiveness. {v 7c} 4. We accept God's ways at the expense of our own.

• Honor God by believing His word.

In order to soar high as an eagle we need to let go of the weight we are carrying, the weight of unforgiveness, hatred, envy and jealousy -the vices that easily weighs and pulls us down. All we need is to hold strongly to our faith looking away from all things that will takes us away from the presence of our Lord. Keep your focus on Him, resist the evil one and He will flee from you. God bless you as you purpose to wait upon Him in the year of MountingUp! [Mark 11. 22-25]

• Honor gives weight to the word.

• How then do we view a weightless word:

1. We view it as negotiable. What God has said to, take it and believe it.

2. We view it as inconsequential. 3. We view God as withholding something good from us.

4. We reap the consequences of placing greater weight on our own reasoning than we do the word of God.

5. We view it as one of two paths and reason that our path may ultimately be better than God's.

b) Presuming we shall have tomorrow. V.14 -Certainties to be sure of :

*The truth of Gods word.

*The consistency of God's love.

*Dependability of God's goodness.

*Reliability of God's promises.

c) Putting off doing what is right. Proverbs 16.1-3 Mortals make elaborate plans, but God has the last word. Humans are satisfied with whatever looks good; God probes for what is good. Put God in charge of your work, then what you’ve planned will take place.

God wants you to Give thanks | Rev Breatrice Waithaka

Thank you is our password. Thanksgiving can mean so many things to different people. The Lord requires us to intermix praise and thanksgiving with every service we render to Him. Giving thanks in the kingdom of God is the way of life, and it is one of the main attributes in the life of a believer. Jesus life was marked by thanksgiving and because of this trait, many miracles manifested all around Him.

Psalms 100:4 MSG Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.

Enter with the password. Thank you, no matter what you have gone through or going through, the Lord wills us to be thankful all the time. Thank you is our password to God’s presence and it is the key that unlocks the door to miracles. The Apostle Paul also teaches us giving thanks is not conditional or optional; it is a must. 1 Thessalonians 5: 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
