Ephesians 4:29-32
God has an answer for resentment
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Expecting divine set ups for our breakthroughs | Pst Stephen Solomon Njoroge

Key Scripture: 1 Samuel 9:3, 15 – 18 (Saul turned from a donkey seeker to King of Israel)
1 Samuel 9:3 (NKJV); Now the donkeys of Kish, Saul’s father, were lost. And Kish said to his son Saul, “Please take one of the servants with you, and arise, go and look for the donkeys.”
1 Samuel 9: 15 – 18 (NKJV); 15 Now the Lord had told Samuel in his ear the day before Saul came, saying, 16 “Tomorrow about this time I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin, and you shall anoint him commander over My people Israel, that he may save My people from the hand of the Philistines; for I have looked upon My people, because their cry has come to Me.” 17 So when Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said to him, “There he is, the man of whom I spoke to you. This one shall reign over My people.” 18 Then Saul drew near to Samuel in the gate, and said, “Please tell me, where is the seer’s house?”
- God had pre-determined or ordained it.
- Our God declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10 NIV)
- God is able to turn our frustrations into divine set ups for our breakthroughs [Luke 5:1 – 6 – disciples led by Simon Peter hadn’t caught anything all night [v5a] and had given up, but they obedience to Jesus’ command was their breakthrough].
Examples of Divine Set ups [examples 2 to 6 are just for mentioning, no need to project scriptures] – Project only no
- The Crushing of Satan at the Cross [1 Cor. 2:7 - 8 NKJV; which (God’s wisdom revealed by the spirit) none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 2:14 -15] – Jesus came as the 2nd Adam (we shall revisit). In Gen 3:15, God speaks to the serpent (Rev12:9) and pronounces judgment on him.
- Mordecai Honoured (Esther 6:1 – 11) - That night the king could not sleep; so he ordered the book of the chronicles, the record of his reign, to be brought in and read to him (Mordecai had exposed scheme to execute king – Esther 2:19 – 23)
- Esther (a Jewish exile & orphan) made a queen (Esther 1:10 – 12, Esther 2:17 – 18). - Queen Vashti stubbornness was a divine set up for Esther’s divine elevation (from a slave girl to a queen).
- Joseph divine connection with King’s Cup Bearer in Prison (Genesis 40:12 – 15) – Cup Bearer informed Pharaoh about Joseph prowess in dream interpretation & Pharaoh quickly sent for him (Genesis 41:9 – 14).
- David (shepherd boy) killing of Goliath (1 Samuel 17:17 - ) – His being sent out by his father to check on his brothers was a divine set up for his divine elevation. Stayed in palace, had favour with all Israel and Judah (1 Sam 18:14 – 16) & became King Saul’s son-in-law.
- Ruth’s resolve to stick to Naomi (Ruth 1:16 – 19) – her divine set up to be married by Boaz and end up being in the lineage of Jesus (Obed the father to Jesse, and Jesse the father of David).
- Saul Chosen to Be King of Israel
1 Samuel 9:1 – 27 to 1 Samuel 10:1 – 16 (Saul turned from a donkey seeker to King of Israel)
- 1 Sam 9:15 – This was a set up by God – Divine set up.

Remember " The Why"
1 Timothy 1: 1-12
Timothy Charged to Guard His Trust
1 Paul, an apostle (special messenger, personally chosen representative) of Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed) by the will of God, according to the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus,
2 to Timothy, my beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace [inner calm and spiritual well-being] from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 I thank God, whom I worship and serve with a clear conscience the way my forefathers did, as I constantly remember you in my prayers night and day, 4 and as I recall your tears, I long to see you so that I may be filled with joy. 5 I remember your sincere and unqualified faith [the surrendering of your entire self to God in Christ with confident trust in His power, wisdom and goodness, a faith] which first lived in [the heart of] your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am confident that it is in you as well. 6 That is why I remind you to [a]fan into flame the gracious gift of God, [that inner fire—the special endowment] which is in you through the laying on of my hands [with those of the elders at your ordination]. 7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
8 So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord or about me His prisoner, but with me take your share of suffering for the gospel [continue to preach regardless of the circumstances], in accordance with the power of God [for His power is invincible], 9 for He delivered us and saved us and called us with a holy calling [a calling that leads to a consecrated life—a life set apart—a life of purpose], not because of our works [or because of any personal merit—we could do nothing to earn this], but because of His own purpose and grace [His amazing, undeserved favor] which was granted to us in Christ Jesus before the world began [eternal ages ago], 10 but now [that extraordinary purpose and grace] has been fully disclosed and realized by us through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus who [through His incarnation and earthly ministry] abolished death [making it null and void] and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 11 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher [of this good news regarding salvation]. 12 This is why I suffer as I do. Still, I am not ashamed; for I know Him [and I am personally acquainted with Him] whom I have believed [with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in the truth of His deity], and I am persuaded [beyond any doubt] that He is able to guard that which I have entrusted to Him until [b]that day [when I stand before Him].

GENESIS 19:30-38
Lot Is Debased
30 Now Lot went up from Zoar, and lived in the mountain together with his two daughters, for he was afraid to stay [any longer] in Zoar; and he lived in a cave with his two daughters. 31 The firstborn said to the younger, “Our father is aging, and there is not a man on earth [available] to be intimate with us in the customary way [so that we may have children]. 32 Come, let us make our father drunk with wine, and we will lie with him so that we may preserve our family through our father.” 33 So they gave their father wine that night, and the firstborn went in and lay with her father; and he did not know when she lay down or when she got up [because he was completely intoxicated]. 34 Then the next day, the firstborn said to the younger, “Behold, I lay with my father last night; let us make him drunk with wine tonight also, and then you go in and lie with him, so that we may preserve our family through our father.” 35 So they gave their father wine that night also, and the younger got up and lay with him; and again he did not know when she lay down or when she got up. 36 Thus both the daughters of Lot conceived by their father. 37 The firstborn gave birth to a son, and named him Moab (from father); he is the father of the Moabites to this day. 38 The younger also gave birth to a son and named him Ben-ammi (son of my people); he is the father of the Ammonites to this day.

Judges 16:23-31
23 Now the Philistine lords gathered together to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to celebrate, for they said,
“Our god has given Samson our enemy into our hands!”
24 When the people saw Samson, they praised their god, for they said,
“Our god has handed over our enemy to us,
The ravager of our country,
Who has killed many of us.”
25 Now when they were in high spirits, they said, “Call for Samson, so that he may amuse us.” So they called Samson out of the prison, and he entertained them. They made him stand between the pillars. 26 Then Samson said to the boy who held him by the hand, “Let me feel the pillars on which the [roof of the] house rests, so that I may lean against them.” 27 Now the house was full of men and women; all the Philistine lords were there, and on the flat roof were about three thousand men and women who looked on while Samson was entertaining them.
Samson Is Avenged
28 Then Samson called to the Lord and said, “O Lord God, please remember me and please strengthen me just this one time, O God, and let me take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes.” 29 Samson took hold of the two middle [support] pillars on which the house rested, and braced himself against them, one with his right hand and the other with his left. 30 And Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” And he stretched out with all his might [collapsing the support pillars], and the house fell on the lords and on all the people who were in it. So the dead whom he killed at his death were more than those whom he had killed during his life. 31 Then his brothers and his father’s entire [tribal] household came down, took him, and brought him up; and they buried him in the tomb of Manoah his father, [which was] between Zorah and Eshtaol. So Samson had judged Israel for twenty years.

When a nation rejects God | Pst Shadrack Muindi Mbithi | ICC

WHEN A NATION REJECTS GOD
Psf Shadrack Mbithi. Jer 2:8-13
●Everytime God fought with a nation it was to exert His supremacy.
●When we pray it reveals the identity of God.
●Believers have moved away from God and are stuck in cisterns of sin that have no satisfaction.
●You either worship God or you are dedicated to something else other than the will of God.
●Revival starts in prayer and Repentance.
●We will be restored when we return back to our first love.
●The cisterns we have dug will only satisfy us for today but will never hold up for long. There is no other better place to be than the Father's heart.
●Run to the father who is our Restoration. Whatever God says He will establish it.
●God will allow us to go through moments of exile for His glory.
●What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose His soul?
●The things of the world only give you immediate satisfaction but of what good is it?
●John 4.10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
●What are you clinging onto? He is the Living water, our peace giver!
●He is our portion in the land of the living.
●Live a radical life for Jesus. He has paid the price.
●Is Jesus your greatest reward? Does He give you your deepest satisfaction?
●What then shall we do ;
1.Repentance recedes restoration.
2.Jesus is our restoration.
3.Holiness marks the restoration.
4.Prayer causes restoration.

Ephesians 1.3
Numbers 22. 41 & 23:1-8
THE SEASON OF RESTORATION FOR GOD'S PEOPLE.
●We have been granted every spiritual blessing.
●Everything good comes from Him.
●He is coming to restore you to every spiritual blessing.
●When the Lord restores you it does not matter where you are. Raise an altar for the Lord.
●We are at war against principalities and not flesh and blood.
●If you are of God, be for God. How much do you love God? Proverbs 8:17 I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me. Proverbs 8:35-36 For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the LORD; But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death."
●Stand with the promises of God. If He says you are blessed, it is yours.
●When you get to your place of restoration have persistent faith. *1 Corinthians 2:5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
● In restoration do not settle for less. Go for what is yours.
●Know what you want God to restore you to.
●In every crisis there are remnants. You are a remnant. *Romans 11:5 Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
●You have grace to receive your blessings irrespective of your state.
●You are an overcomer. Greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world.
●What you experience in a crisis does not determine your future.
●The spirit man connects with the Spirit of God.
●The seed of blessings is upon you.

Restoration During Crisis Day 1 ^
Bishop Jimmy Kimani
God will not always do what we expect Him to do. He will do what He says He will do. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 1. God thinks about us all the time. *He has a wonderful plan for us. 2. God's thoughts towards us are good. *What He tells us is true but we forget until things in life fall apart. 3. God intends to give us a hope-filled future.

When strong men struggle - Overcoming life's challenges | Peter Macharia | MeMO

One day a small gap appeared in the cocoon, through which the butterfly had to appear. A boy, who accidentally passed by, stopped and watched how the butterfly was trying to get out of the cocoon. It took a lot of time, the butterfly was trying very hard, and the gap was as little as before. It seemed that the power would leave the butterfly soon. The boy decided to help the butterfly. He took a penknife and cut the cocoon. The butterfly immediately got out, but its body was weak and feeble, and the wings were barely moving. The boy continued to watch the butterfly, thinking that now its wings would spread and it would fly. However, that did not happen. The rest of its life the butterfly had to drag its weak body and wings that weren’t spread. It was unable to fly because the boy did not realize that, an effort to enter through the narrow gap of the cocoon was necessary for the butterfly, so that the life-giving fluid would move from the body to the butterfly’s wings and that the butterfly could fly. If we were allowed to live without meeting difficulties, we would not be viable. Life gives us challenges to make us stronger.

Galatians 5: 22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. Today we look into a fruit called Patience. Hope you get encouraged by this message.
